Ninetendo Wii – stupid question from a mom! Help me guys …?

Was checking the hype around the PS3 and Wii – in which the Wii looks pretty neat. I am confused and do not read ….. are the games on TV or PC / screen. The confusion here creeps me b / ci saw when connected to the network. Any clarification / explanation would be great. My kids -12 / 13-gamecube want to change the PS3 or even good ole 2 ….. but I think this is the smart move. Older than the other console plays games-wow. thanks people – (PS not a grandmother yet! but it's hard to keep my head now!)

-Both work in television and can be adapted to PC. The Wii: games are more intelligent, less based on immersion in the reality and be compatible with the bucket. PS3: More Games Immersion: The Experience of games turns more realistic graphics and immerrsion. They both connect to the Internet, and Nintendo agreed not to charge for use their online servers. Personally I think the wii is better for the brain, since the games have a tendency to be based on intelligent systems instead of trying to make him live an alternate reality. HTH
