Top 3 most anticipated Xbox 360 Video Games of 2010

Video games, like movies, are largely based on the franchise, if a game is good probably will be rewarded with a sequel. Some games are created with the intention of a sequel (or in the case of Mass Effect, a trilogy) and some consequences are largely to satisfy gamers clamoring for a new, really, why developers when it is essentially denied, easy money. Good consequences are those that build outside the original and create something totally new, not just rehashing old ideas and launch a new multiplayer mode. Two of the most anticipated games of 2010 on my list are sequels and one a game that if you critical and commercial success is almost guaranteed a sequel to your account.

1) Bioshock 2

The first Bioshock was a rarity for games of this generation, there was only one single-player campaign, though a long one with a fascinating story, but not multiplayer. The sequel to the critical added multiplayer Bioshock is getting and changing the player's perspective of Big Daddy mysterious person mechanics. In the first game of the Big Daddies, with its high-tech machinery and body kits impenetrable were his enemies so it will be interesting see how the story plays out when in his shoes. The multiplayer has been the subject of some ridicule, with supporters saying that seems glued to appease the multiplayer treasures, but only time will tell how history and experience have against hard-to-beat original.

Mass Effect 2) 2

Planned as a trilogy and developed by one of the smartest game developers working today, BioWare Mass Effect 2 has all the ingredients of an Empire Strikes Back "half-movie-of-a-trilogy sequel. If you asked me," Empire Strikes Back "was my favorite of the trilogy so I have high hopes that Bioware is using this film as a model for follow-up, I am talking more action and more characters and all the best and biggest. The first match was hampered a bit by the controls of some variable, but the word is that they have taken the complaints to the players to heart and adjusted to make them more viable.

3) Alan Wake

The mysterious title by Remedy Entertainment, the developers of the popular Max Payne series has been gaining more and more rumors as word escapes slowly out. Word is that it is a psychological thriller influenced by every one of my favorite shows, "Twin Peaks" and " Lost "and the works of author Stephen King. There have been too many survival horror games for Xbox 360, plus the number of convicts and Resident Evil 4, so that Alan Wake sounds very promising. Lets just hope that really comes out next year.
